I've followed Lyman for a long time, not because I agree with all of his conclusions, but because no matter what point he's arguing he always brings good data to back it up.
I first met Katt during a newsletter growth challenge I was running called Speedrun 1000. At the time I was growing Bot Eat Brain and she was growing No-Code Exits and neither of us had more than a couple hundred subscribers. Out of two dozen+ participants the only newsletter that managed to grow faster than mine was hers and it was well deserved. Every article interviews a different no-code founder about how they built and sold their startup or project.
This is the missing guide to civics we all should have been taught in high-school or at least college. I love this substack because of it's optimism (our communities are great and we can make them even better!) and ambition (let's double the population of NYC!).
I remember when I first saw Tony on Twitter (back then it was still Twitter). He must have had less than 1k followers at the time and I saw him grow to 100k+ faster than I'd ever seen anyone do it before. How? By building products perfectly optimized to grow on the platform he was building them on. Worth reading Tony to understand his mindset and strategy.
